Creative Futures Final

My tutors suggested some changes in their feedback to my initial drafts, and I took their advice. I changed the position of the text, made it look more like a travel poster, using the examples they provided. I made two variants, just to be safe, using two different locations in my 3D world, and two different times of day. Two separate moods.

Poster 1 City of Libau by night, with the mains street and evening traffic in the foreground, and church bell tower illuminated in the background. I used my tutors' suggestion, and gave my posters a paper or canvas print look, using a free texture from textures.com.

Poster 2 Showcasing the central square, cart, main character's car in the foreground. And the big corner building and it's dome spire, in the background. Lighter colors, daytime, more vivid and saturated color scheme. Looks more peaceful in my opinion. Secondly, update on my Business cards. Again, I used the feedback as a guide and made some small changes, as I was happy with the original design already. Smaller, better positioned text, and slightly repositioned car art.

Thirdly, my online promotions. Design deck on ArtStation. For my plan after this project, I plan to continue work independently on my own project. Inspired by solo game developers, I wish to continue work on Libau 1938 independent of studios or investors. I may use Patreon, Ko-fi, or other similar services to promote, showcase my work and allow people to support me. I know this is no grand idea, or grand plan, but I am not in a rush to work in the industry immediately after university, and wish to spend some time working at my own pace after spending most of my conscious life in full time education.
